Manager, Leadership Initiatives
Sejal M. Shah is the Manager, Leadership Initiatives at the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance.
Previously, she served as the Director of Professional Development at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP. In this role, Sejal was responsible for leading firm-wide attorney talent development initiatives including onboarding and integration, training, mentoring, and performance evaluations. Prior to this role, she was a corporate attorney at Goodwin Procter LLP, where she advised companies on a wide range of transactional matters including acquisitions, financings, credit facilities, public offerings and intellectual property issues. Sejal played a key role in the creation of the Associate Committee to the Committee on Racial and Ethnic Diversity and also spearheaded the development of the Financial Literacy Program to provide adult financial literacy education.
Sejal earned a J.D. cum laude from Boston University School of Law. She also holds a M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from New York University and a B.A. from Columbia University in Psychology and a Premedical Concentration in Economics. While at New York University, Sejal served as a Teaching Assistant and completed her thesis on effects of gender and race on workplace negotiation tactics.
