A recent recipient of the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award, Manar Sweillam Morales is a national thought leader on workplace flexibility, the hybrid workplace, the future of work, women’s leadership, and diversity & inclusion.

As President & CEO of the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance, she collaborates with organizations to develop inclusive flexible work cultures that cultivate diversity in leadership, foster a more humanized work experience, and drive workplace wellbeing.  For more than a decade, the Alliance has provided practical research-based solutions, customizable training programs, strategic advisory services and a peer-learning network that increase organizational effectiveness through diversity and flexibility.

Manar began her career as an employment litigator representing clients in all aspects of labor relations and employment law and has litigated in federal court, before federal administrative agencies, and in arbitration.  In addition, Manar served as an adjunct faculty member of Georgetown University where she taught classes in Labor and Employment Law and Entrepreneurship.  Manar is a Washington Advisory Council member for Commonsense Media, a member of the President’s Council of Cornell Women, a liaison to the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession, and a Trustee of the Board of St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School.

Manar is the author of the forthcoming book, The Flexibility Paradigm:  Humanizing the Workplace for Productivity, Profitability, and Possibility (Georgetown University Press, February 2025).
