Eliza Park Musallam is Diversity & Flexibility Alliance’s Director of Member Relations & Outreach where she develops, plans, and works with members to create impactful diversity, inclusion, and flexibility initiatives. She also assists with new business development, brand awareness, and coordinates the Alliance’s Annual Conference.
Prior to joining the Alliance, Eliza worked as the Diversity Liaison and Career Counselor in the Office of Career & Professional Development at American University Washington College of Law. In this role, she counseled students and worked with employers to develop student-focused diversity/professional development initiatives. She served as the 2012 President of WALRAA (the Washington Area Legal Recruitment Administrators Association) and is an active member of NALP. Eliza has presented at several local and national engagements on topics focused on diversity in the legal profession and career development.
She started as an attorney at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP defending Fortune 500 companies in asbestos and toxic tort litigation. After working at Vorys, Sater she clerked for the Honorable Eileen T. Gallagher of the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas until 2008. Eliza received both her JD (2001) and her BA (1998) from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.
